WLR is pleased to announce that Ms. Nora Ochoa Rodriquez will be returning this fall, teaching a fun, hands-on, immersion-style Spanish class. In this interactive class for Grades 1-4, Maestra Nora will “immerse” the students in the Spanish language, using her tone of voice, hand gestures and enthusiasm to guide students in their acquisition of the Spanish language. The emphasis is on conversation, colors, numbers, and other commonly used terms that the students can use and practice at home.
Spanish for Grades 1-4 is offered Mondays at 12:30 p.m., starting September 14th.
Ms. Rodriquez studied Psychology with a specialization in Neurodevelopment and Early Childhood in Mexico City, where she lived for almost 30 years. She has resided in Sacramento for the past six years with her husband and two daughters. Ms. Rodriquez enjoys Pilates and Zumba and has been teaching Spanish since 2012. She also enjoys singing and dancing with her daughters.
